A. Sears Gift Cards display your Sears Portrait Studio portrait or other picture and a personal message on the background you choose. They can be redeemed for merchandise and services purchased in conjunction with merchandise at participating Sears, Roebuck and Co. store locations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Mail this gift directly to the recipient's home or business, or choose to have the Gift Card(s) shipped to you.

A. Each Sears Gift Card comes in an attractive cardholder and envelope. You have the ability to add a personal message in the bottom panel of the cardholder to further personalize your gift. See the example below.

Q. How long can my personal message be?

A. The space allotted for your personal message on the gift card is 8-15 characters (including spaces and punctuation) per line. This character limitation depends on the design you choose and whether or not you add a picture. You also have space for a message on the bottom panel of the cardholder that will contain your Sears Gift Card. See the example of a cardholder above. You can personalize the cardholder with 25 characters per To & From field and four (4) lines of 45 characters per line.

Q. How do I "drag and drop" a Gift Card design?

A. Click on a Gift Card to select a design. While holding down the mouse button drag the design and place it over the frame. Release the mouse button to "drop" it into the frame.

Q. Can I create Sears Gift Cards with my Sears Portrait Studio images?

A. Yes! Just have portraits taken at a participating Sears Portrait Studio and load them into your account. Then you can use a Sears Portrait Studio image to personalize your Sears Gift Cards.

A. A Sears Gift Card can be used until the balance on the card reaches zero. Call 1-888-332-2218 any time, ask a store associate, or check the store receipt after using the Gift Card to check the balance.

Q. How long does it take for my Sears Gift Card order to ship?

A. Sears Gift Card orders are processed within two business days of payment approval and are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service. Depending on where you live, they will arrive within 3-5 business days.

Q. How do I order multiple Sears Gift Cards?

A. For multiple Gift Cards of the same design and message sent to same address you can specify the quantity desired when ordering online. If you want to choose a different design, use a different picture or message, or send them to different addresses you need to place a separate order for each Gift Card.

A. Lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards may be canceled and replaced with appropriate proof of purchase. Disregard any language to the contrary indicated on the Gift Card itself. No cash refunds are given for lost, stolen or damaged Sears Gift Cards; only the unused balance may be replaced. Please note that Gift Cards are neither refundable nor returnable. Q. Can I exchange my Sears Gift Card for cash or credit on my Sears account?

A. Sears Gift Cards are redeemable at Sears Stores and Sears Hardware Stores for merchandise, and services purchased in connection with merchandise. They are not redeemable for cash. You cannot use your Sears Gift Card to obtain a credit on a Sears account.
